This workshop will take place Dec 19-21 at the BRICS in Braunschweig, Germany. Dec 22 is an optional day when you can continue analyzing your own data with our help. The workshop will be led by Daniel McDonald and Antonio González Peña, members of the QIIME and QIIME 2 development teams.
16S rRNA gene sequences have been widely used to study microbial phylogeny and taxonomy. The software suite QIIME is one of the most popular choices to analyze such data. Its successor, QIIME 2, was recently announced and all users are encouraged to switch to the new version.
